  • Professional Development

“I work for the VSB and I attended one of your Pro-D workshops years ago and ths since been one of the most useful and memorable Pro-D’s I’ve ever been to.”

  • Community Partners

“As an ally and educator I have been impacted and empowered to take action through IDL s anti oppression leadership. Books are tools of empowerment and voice. Who are they empowering? Who is being silenced? This exposure starts at such a young age. IDL reading lists have supported my work through starting difficult conversations for a huge variety of ages and cognitive abilities. IDL s pedagogy is care and love led. Let it lead the way for our future leaders!”

  • Literary Installations

“My partner and I were so inspired by the library that I think we spent the majority of our time at the museum there. I have been an elementary school teacher for 20 years and it’s crazy that all of our school libraries don’t look like the I Dream Library.”

Fund our future!

We’re building I Dream Library and Center for Education Design, a space and team to offer collaborative research and further our work in curriculum development, evaluation, library curation, publishing, interdisciplinary art and spatial design. Here, educators, students of all ages, and community will have access to our library, research materials, labs, training and mentorship in age appropriate equity learning.
